Ingredients:
– 2 large onions, thinly sliced
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 2 tablespoons butter
– 1 teaspoon sugar
– 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
– 4 large potatoes, cut into fries
– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
1. Preheat the Oven:
– Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Prepare the Fries:
– Place the cut potatoes in a bowl, drizzle with vegetable oil, and season with salt. Toss to coat.
– Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crispy.
3. Caramelize the Onions:
– In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add the sliced onions, sprinkle with sugar, and cook, stirring occasionally, for 20-25 minutes until caramelized.

– Heat a separate skillet over high heat. Sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or to your desired doneness.
– Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
