Ingredients

For the Panna Cotta:

1 ¼ cups fresh cream (e.g., Amul cream) 🥛

¾ cup full-fat milk 🥛

½ cup sugar (slightly less than ½ cup) 🍬

1 tsp vanilla essence 🌼

¼ tsp cardamom powder 🌿

2 tsp agar agar or 1 ¼ tsp gelatin 🌱

3 to 4 tbsp warm water 💧

For the Mango Coulis:

1 ½ cups mango puree 🥭

2 tbsp sugar (adjust according to sweetness of mangoes) 🍬

1 tsp lemon juice 🍋

Pinch of cardamom powder 🌿

Instructions

1. Prepare the Mango Coulis

1️⃣ In a small saucepan, combine the mango puree, sugar, and cardamom powder.

2️⃣ Simmer over low heat for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3️⃣ Remove from heat and add the lemon juice. Mix well and allow to cool.

2. Prepare the Panna Cotta

4️⃣ Lightly grease the insides of serving bowls with oil or cooking spray.

5️⃣ Divide the cooled mango coulis among the prepared dessert bowls. Cover with cling wrap and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours.

3. Soak the Agar Agar

6️⃣ In a small bowl, soak the agar agar powder in warm water for a few minutes.

4. Cook the Cream Mixture

7️⃣ In a stainless steel vessel, combine the whole milk and fresh cream. Heat on low flame until it reaches a boil.

8️⃣ Add the sugar and simmer until dissolved, stirring occasionally. Turn off the heat.

5. Melt the Agar Agar

9️⃣ In a small saucepan, place the soaked agar agar mixture over low heat. Stir continuously until it melts and becomes clear with no lumps. Remove from heat.

6. Combine Mixtures

7. Assemble and Chill

1️⃣4️⃣ Carefully pour the milk-agar agar mixture over the coulis in each bowl. Cover with cling wrap again and refrigerate for at least 4 to 6 hours or overnight.
