Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 large egg
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
8 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
Mix the Meatball Ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, onion, parsley, egg, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
Form the Meatballs:
Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each one.
Add the Bacon and Cheese:
Using your finger, create a small indentation on top of each meatball. Fill the indentation with crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese, pressing gently to secure.
Bake the Meatballs:
Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
Add the BBQ Sauce:
Remove the meatballs from the oven and brush each one generously with BBQ sauce, returning them to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to let the sauce caramelize slightly.
Serve:
Serve your BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger Meatballs hot, drizzled with extra BBQ sauce if desired. Enjoy these delightful, savory bites with your favorite dipping sauce!
