Ingredients:

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, diced
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ginger, grated
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon water
Butter lettuce leaves, washed and dried
Optional toppings: sliced green onions, sesame seeds, shredded carrots


Instructions:


In a bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger.


In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry.


Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add diced chicken. Cook until browned and cooked through.


Pour the teriyaki sauce mixture over the cooked chicken and stir to coat evenly.
Add the cornstarch slurry to the skillet and stir until the sauce thickens.


Remove the skillet from heat and let the chicken mixture cool slightly.
Spoon the teriyaki chicken onto butter lettuce leaves.


Garnish with sliced green onions, sesame seeds, and shredded carrots, if desired.
