1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade seasoning)
1 bag tortilla chips
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese

1/2 cup black beans (optional)
1/4 cup sliced black olives
1/2 cup diced tomatoes
1/2 cup diced red onion
1 jalapeño, sliced (optional)
1/4 cup pickled jalapeños (optional)
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup guacamole
Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:

Cook the Beef:

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add the taco seasoning and follow the instructions on the packet (usually mixing with water and simmering until thickened). Set aside.
Prepare the Nachos:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
On a large baking sheet, spread out an even layer of tortilla chips. Sprinkle half of the cheese over the chips.
Spoon the seasoned beef evenly over the cheese. Add the black beans (if using), black olives, diced tomatoes, red onions, and jalapeño slices.
Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
Bake the Nachos:

Place the loaded nachos in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Add Toppings:

Remove the nachos from the oven and drizzle with sour cream and guacamole. Top with pickled jalapeños and fresh cilantro.
Serve:

Serve immediately and enjoy with extra salsa, sour cream, or guacamole on the side.
