Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Cook the Bacon & Sausage
- In a large skillet or Dutch oven, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove & set aside.
- In the same pan, brown the sliced sausage (about 3-4 minutes). Remove & set aside.
2. Sauté the Aromatics
- Add onion to the bacon grease and cook until soft (~3 minutes).
- Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
3. Cook the Cabbage
- Add chopped cabbage, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.

4. Add Shrimp & Finish
- Push cabbage to the side and add shrimp in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side.
